Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end in American football that played in the National Football League. He played for 17 years in the field. One of America's top tight ends, he is the holder of an NFL record for the most receiving yards for all tight ends. He also ranks third in all time for the amount of receptions.
A former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports Studio analyst. Since the 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez has been an integral part for FOX NFL KICKOFF FOX's hour-long NFL pregame program that precedes FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on March 15 2013, for a deal worth $14 million over two years. This was even though he claimed that he was retiring at the close of the season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 in 2012, and Gonzalez (37 an age) played last season as the an NFL's most prolific receiver.
